Returns, Cancellations & Delivery Policy

At Audio Chic, every order is handcrafted to order in our Yorkshire workshop. We take great pride in producing bespoke products tailored to your chosen speaker model, dimensions and timber selection.

Please read the following information carefully before placing your order.

1. Production & Lead Times

All Audio Chic products are handmade to order.

Our typical production lead time is 4–6 working weeks from the date of order. This timescale is an estimate and may vary during periods of high demand, supplier delays, machinery breakdowns, staff illness, public holidays or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will always endeavour to complete orders as quickly as possible.

Tracking information is normally provided towards the end of the stated lead time period, once your order has been dispatched.

Lead times relate to manufacturing and do not include shipping transit times.


2. Returns for Bespoke Products

We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Subject to the conditions below:

  • A refund of 90% of the item value will be provided (a 10% restocking fee applies).
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
  • Goods must be returned in their original packaging and in a resaleable, undamaged condition.

As our products are handcrafted and made to order, we strongly recommend checking all measurements, speaker dimensions and stand heights carefully before placing your order.


3. Natural Timber Variations

Our products are made from solid hardwood.

Natural variations in colour, grain pattern, figuring and texture are part of the character of real timber and should be expected. Product photographs are intended as a guide only.

Variations in timber appearance are not considered defects and do not qualify as manufacturing faults.


4. Leg Exchanges

If you subsequently require a different stand height, we are happy to exchange legs provided that:

  • The original legs are returned in unmarked, saleable condition.
  • Original packaging is used where possible.
  • The customer covers all return and replacement shipping costs.
  • Any price difference for longer or more expensive replacement legs is paid before dispatch.

5. Amending or Cancelling an Order

If you need to amend your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Changes to dimensions, timber choice, delivery address or other specifications can usually be accommodated before production begins.

Orders may be cancelled prior to production commencing.

Once materials have been prepared, components manufactured, or production has started, cancellation may not be possible and any refund offered will be at our discretion, taking into account costs already incurred.


6. Damaged, Faulty or Incomplete Orders

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, faulty or incomplete:

  • Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Please provide photographs of the packaging and any damage where possible.
  • We will arrange replacement parts, repair, collection or replacement of the item as appropriate.

7. Delivery & Courier Requirements

Most UK and international orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx and include full tracking.

UK mainland delivery is free. Some Highlands, Islands and offshore postcodes may incur an additional surcharge which will be shown at checkout.

If the outer packaging appears damaged on delivery, please note this with the courier when signing for the parcel. Failure to do so may affect our ability, and the courier's ability, to process a damage claim.


8. International Orders, Duties & Taxes

All Audio Chic products are handcrafted in the United Kingdom.

For customers outside the UK, local VAT, sales tax, customs duties and carrier handling fees may apply depending on your country's regulations.

Where available, customers may choose a shipping option marked "Taxes & Duties Included" to pre-pay these charges.

If standard shipping is selected, customs charges remain the responsibility of the customer. Failure to pay customs charges may result in delays, return of the parcel or, in rare cases, disposal by customs authorities.
